In case of high milk production, there is a danger that metabolism problems may arise and the milk production will remain below expectation due to a poor supply with energy and protein.

A ration that meets the performance requirement with high-quality base and concentrated feed is the basis for successful milk production. Rumen-proof protein has a central role in this context since the percentage of microbe protein in the coverage of the overall protein requirement decreases while milk production increases.

As a result, the percentage of UDP (rumen-undegraded dietary protein) is increased in the ration to close the gap in the protein supply.
